NFL Week 8

Washington (4-3) 23 @ Detroit (1-5) 30
I hope the 'Skins, or maybe just DeAngelo Hall, got Cutler something real nice this past week for giving them the game. The Lions are coming off their bye and have their starting QB coming back, who has been out since Week 1. DeAngelo will have his hands full covering Calvin Johnson this week. I see the Lions coming out with a victory this week.

Jacksonville 20 (3-4) @ Dallas (1-5) 27
As if the Cowboys season couldn't get any worse it does as Tony Romo received a punishing drive to the turf courtesy of Michael Boley. Their defense looks lost as the Gmen racked up 497 yards. Jacksonville's defense is also looking lost giving up 65 points in the past two games. It is always a fun game to watch when two teams are in a free fall. I don't see Dallas losing this game even with Kitna at QB.

Miami (3-3) 24 @ Cincinnati (2-4) 20
Wow did the Fins get robbed or what last week. Just crazy what happened there in the 4th quarter. This is a must win for the Bengals to keep there season alive. They made a nice comeback last week in Atlanta but fell short. The Fins played the Steelers tough but lost mainly because they couldn't get the ball in the endzone and settled for FGs.

Buffalo (0-6) 27 @ Kansas City (4-2) 34
KC has been a nice surprise this season. Buffalo has been playing a lot better with Fitzpatrick as QB. They came oh so close beating the Ravens last week. With Dwayne Bowe finally catching the ball the KC offense looks dangerous now.

Carolina (1-5) 20 @ St. Louis (3-4) 17
Johnathan Stewart gets the starting role in this game as DeAngelo Williams is out with a foot injury. Stewart has performed well, averaging 150 yards per game, in his 3 starts. St. Louis is coming off a tough loss in Tampa Bay. I think the Panthers come out with a victory here as last week's victory is a confidence builder and will continue.

Green Bay (4-3) 24 @ New York Jets (5-1) 31
You think the Jets are getting tired of hearing the the Steelers are the best team in football. New York is coming off their bye and Green Bay is coming in with 6 days rest as they had to eek out a victory against the Vikings on Monday night. I'm going with the team with 2 weeks off.

Denver (2-5) 14 @ San Francisco (1-6) 24 {Game being played in England}
I don't think it's fair that the Niners have to give up a home game, even though they will probably make more money in Wembley than at Candlestick. The Niners are coming off a brutal loss against the Panthers last week, but not as brutal as the Broncos loss last week. 59 points given up to an Oakland Raider team (a record by the way for the Raiders). That is just inexcusable and I don't see how you can rebound from a loss like that.

Tennessee (5-2) 24 @ San Diego (2-5) 28
Tennessee's Kenny Britt just put a one man wrecking crew show against the Eagles in the 4th quarter last week. San Diego almost made a nice comeback but missed a 50 yard FG by hitting the post. How happy is LT for the Chargers not wanting him now. The Titans are playing well as anyone right now as the Chargers are just giving games away. 2 horrific turnovers against a Patriot team is not going to win games. The Chargers should get a boost with Vincent Jackson coming back, but I don't know when he will be ready for games.

Tampa Bay (4-2) 17 @ Arizona (3-3) 13
I gotta say, I love the confidence Irvington native Maurice Morris gives his team. This past week he stated the the Bucs are the best team in the NFC. Though I highly disagree with that, but you have to love faith he has in his players to say something like that. I'm liking Josh Freeman, beautiful drive last week to end the game against the Rams. The Cards are in trouble and will continue to be.

Minnesota (2-4) 17 @ New England (5-1) 34
Brett Favre to start but probably won't finish. Please all this just to keep the streak going, are you kidding me. I believe Jackson gives the Vikings the best chance to win here, but as long as Brett is under center and tossing balls to the other team the Vikings are going anywhere with that talent. New England just amaze me on how fundamentally sound they are as a football team.

Seattle (4-2) 13 @ Oakland (3-4) 24
The Seahawks being at 4-2 surprises the hell out of me. Will Oakland continue where they left off last week. It's Halloween and I'm going with the crowd that always dresses up as if it is Halloween every Sunday. The Hawks will get eaten up in the Black Hole.

Pittsburgh (5-1) 27 @ New Orleans (4-3) 16
This is a tricky game to pick. The Saints are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Browns last week. While the Steelers are coming off a victory against the Fins. Drew Brees will not throw 4 Ints in this game and will play a lot better than last week. But I don't think the Saints D can stop the Steelers whereas the Steel Curtain can hold the Saints to FGs and not TDs.

Houston (4-2) 28 @ Indianapolis (4-2) 31
One thing I hope in this game is that the Texans hurt a bruised the Colts up, since the Colts are coming to Philly next Sunday. Who will stay close to the Titans after this one? One theory I have is to never bet against Peyton Manning in primetime and that is the reason why I'm picking the Colts.

Byes

Atlanta- Will they get a boost this week from a New Orleans lost?

Chicago- A week where Cutler doesn't get sack.

Cleveland- Do they really want this week off after a victory like that?

New York Giants- Will they continue the hot hand when they get back to work?

Philadelphia- Need the 2 weeks off, just to prepare for Peyton Manning next week.

Baltimore- Will they get a boost this week from a Steeler lost?

NFL Week 7

Douchebag of the week is Jerome Harrison. Mulling retirement because the NFL wised up and threatened players larger fines and even suspensions for vicious hits. Are you kidding me, you do not have to change the way you play fool- just be conscious of the penalty. I love a good hit as anyone out there. I understand that football is a gladiator sport. What the NFL finally recognized is that these missile leading with the helmet hits have to stop. Players in the lower levels (college, high school i.e.) try to emulate their heroes in the NFL. Unfortunately this past weekend Eric LeGrand of Rutgers became paralyzed from the neck down. The 72 hour window of hope has come and gone and my prayers go out to him and his family and also my hopes are there for him to walk again. This is what the league is trying to avoid and by doing so, it will trickle down to the lower levels of play and ultimately cut down head and nerve injuries. It is nice to see the NFL finally taking a stand here understanding their responsibility not only to their players but for all football players. They should also use better equipped helmets, that onus is on the NFL still. On to Week 7 picks.

Cincinnati (2-3) 17 @ Atlanta (4-2) 31
The Bengals go down to the Chocolate City after a bye week to face a Falcon team that just got embarrassed in Philadelphia. I have been waiting for two things to happen this season- The Bengals offense to wake up and for Turner to have that 3TD monster game (I thought that was going to happen last week, but being down 21-0 real quick makes a team become more one-dimensional). Palmer comes back after a horrible, less then 5 minutes left to go in the game, performance as he gift wrapped the game for Tampa Bay. I think Atlanta bounces back at home and goes to 5-2 while the Bengals dig themselves a deep hole looking up at the Ravens and Steelers.

Washington (3-3) 28 @ Chicago (4-2) 20
#5 returns home again. This time to his true hometown of the Chicago area. One thing I learned about McNabb is that he loves playing in Chicago in front of family and friends and usually does really well. I see no difference in a Redskin uniform. Cutler has been running for his life lately and yet the suppose genius of Mike Martz still lines up with a 4 or 5 receiver set with no TE for extra help in blocking. And to run the ball only 8 times after a week where Forte rushed for a career high is just inexcusable. I think Lovie Smith needs to put in Jonathon Moxon and instead of throwing the ball at his father or the opposing team's mascot aim it at Martz. He is leaving Cutler on a platter to the opposing team's front seven.

St. Louis (3-3) 24 @ Tampa Bay (3-2) 28
Great win by the Rams last week against the Bolts. Tampa Bay on the other hand had a wake up call by the Saints. This one is a tough one to pick, so I'm going with the home team and my fantasy QB in this one.

San Francisco (1-5) 20 @ Carolina (0-5) 13
Finally the Niners won a game. Will that continue in the east coast. The Panthers are going back to Moore at the QB position. They will also get a boost from Steve Smith coming back, but who cares when you have no one who can get the ball to him. I don't like the Panthers but I also don't like a 1-5 team from the west coast playing in the east coast.

Buffalo (0-5) 10 @ Baltimore (4-2) 24
Just what the Ravens need after a OT loss. The Buffalo Bills. Ray Lewis by far has the best quote about what the NFL is trying to do with the hits- "My opinion is play the game like that game is supposed to be played, and whatever happens happens". Instead of complaining and mulling retirement Lewis just said it the way it is. There also could be some tension on the offense side of the ball as it was reported that Flacco is getting a lil upset with the conservative play calling. All will be well in Ravenland after this week.

Philadelphia (4-2) 27 @ Tennessee (4-2) 17
Huge Inter-conference game here. The Eagles can get a leg up in their division as the Titans beat the Cowboys and Giants earlier this season. This is going to be a tough one for the Birds as they go against Chris Johnson, hopefully he can be contain like Gore and Turner were in the previous two weeks. Tennessee is coming off a Monday night victory laugher over the Jags. Philly will like a win here before the bye and stay atop the NFC East as the Titans will like a win to stay atop their division. Unfortunately, DJax will be sitting this one out and to be honest I think he will be out for a while since this is his 2nd major concussion in as many seasons. The Titans D have two former Eagles who were cut earlier in the year and have been playing awesome under Jeff Fisher. Babin is 4th in the league in sacks and Witherspoon is playing well and both will like nothing more then to do some damage to the Birds. Vince Young is a game time decision but I think he will play. I went against my team last week. Not going to do it this week.

Jacksonville (3-3) 6 @ Kansas City (3-2) 20
The Chiefs are coming off a tough loss to the Texans. I just don't understand how Andre Johnson can get so open on a play like that- let someone else beat you. The Cheifs had that game and let it slipped away. Whereas the Jags didn't even show up on Monday at home against the Titans. Arrowhead is a tough place to play and to have Todd Bouman as your QB is never a good thing.

Pittsburgh (4-1) 24 @ Miami (3-2) 17
This one is the matchup of the week for me. I love the physicality of these two teams. If this were Big Ben's first game back I think I would go the Fins way, but with the rust starting to come off last week- I'm picking the Steelers. Miami will have to try to keep the Steelers out of the endzone and to capitalize on their mistakes for them to win. Don't be surprise if the Fins come out on top in this one.

Cleveland (1-5) 17 @ New Orleans (4-2) 31
Nice start for the McCoy era against Pittsburgh last week. Word is that he is starting again this week. First the Pittsburgh D and now trying to keep up with Drew Brees this week. The Saints last Sunday finally had a game that wasn't a nail biter. This should be another blowout in this one as the Browns come to the Big Easy.

Arizona (3-2) 21 @ Seattle (3-2) 30
Man was I wrong about that Seattle game last week. Good job by the defensive front seven wrecking havoc all day on Cutler. Although that is as easy as it sounds these days. My new way on picking NFC west opponents is to just pick the home team whenever they face each other.

New England (4-1) 28 @ San Diego (2-4) 38
This is the hardest game to pick this week for me. New England going out west to face the Chargers. Which Charger team will show up is a guessing game as any other. New England looked like the Patriots during their dynasty years, which is pretty scary. I still don't trust that defense though and the Chargers have their backs against the wall and they seemed to always start balling when that happens. That is way I'm picking the Bolts.

Oakland (2-4) 10 @ Denver (2-4) 24
Big divisional matchup here. Denver coming off a tough loss to the Jets last week. All they needed was to stop one play and ended up getting a pass interference call that led to the game winning TD for New York. Oakland is coming off a brutal loss to the winless Niners. Denver has been playing decent football despite a 3 game losing streak. I don't see that streak going to 4.

Minnesota (2-3) 34 @ Green Bay (3-3) 27
Huge game for the Vikings here. A win here and the start of 1-3 is a distant memory. They didn't play well last week against Dallas but still manage to win the game. Mainly because of stupid ass penalties caused by Dallas. Brett Favre comes back to Lambeau Field for this Sunday night matchup. Primetime at his old stadium calls for some magic and a possibility of some mooning from Moss. Green Bay is hurting still and is my main reason for picking against them.

New York Giants (4-2) 38 @ Dallas (1-4) 41
Funny how the NFL is when three weeks ago we thought the Giants were falling flat on their face and that the Cowboys finally woke up and got their season on track. Just the exact opposite happened. Will the Giants keep the foot on the Cowboys throat or will the Cowboys win a game with their backs against the wall. It seems like these games are always a high scoring affair in Dallas. The Giants need to hound Romo all night to cause turnovers. I think the Cowboys come out on top in this one to keep their season alive.

Byes

Detroit (1-5)- Leave it to the Lions to have a 1-5 record and to have score more points than points against.

Houston (4-2)- By the time they get back, Andre Johnson's ankle should be healed.

Indianapolis (4-2)- A much needed by for the Colts. Unfortunately Dallas Clark went onto the IR this past week and Austin Collie will be sidelined for at least 3 weeks. But hey as long as Peyton Manning is under center the Colts will be alright.

New York Jets (5-1)- Will this bye cool off a team that has been riding the hot hand lately?

Week 6 Pick

Last week is a distant memory. That was a god awful performance pick wise. Hopefully can rebound this week, as I fell off the overall leader in my office pool. Now I am 3 back, hope to gain some ground this week.

Seattle (2-2) 13 @ Chicago (4-1) 27
I picked Carolina last week because of Todd Collins and I sat Forte in my fantasy because I thought the Panther D only needed to concentrate on the running game. Well, I lost on both fronts. Cutler should be coming back for this game and Seattle is coming back from a bye. But playing in Chicago is a tough spot for a west team to play in. The Bears still won the game despite throwing 4 Ints and if that happens again this week they can still win the game. That is how much faith I have for the Seahawks.

Miami (2-2) 17 @ Green Bay (3-2) 13
A crushing defeat for the Pack last week. Not only did they lose a 10 point lead in the 4th, they possibly lost Rodgers for this game. Even with Rodgers in, I think the Fins can pull this one off. Injuries are piling up in Green Bay. The O-line is a mess and the injuries on defense seems to be multiplying by 3 everyday. Miami had a week to fix their problems, especially special teams. Interesting matchup between Woodson and Marshall in this one. I think the Dolphins will pound the ball with their 1-2 punch of Brown and Williams to keep the Packers offense off the field and to keep the mistakes minimal for Henne.

San Diego (2-3) 31 @ St. Louis (2-3)10
Interesting stat here- the Chargers are #1 in Offense and #2 in Defense (both in yds. per game) but are only 2-3. How the hell does that happen. Special teams are horrendous in San Diego. 3 weeks ago Leon Washington returned two Kickoffs and last week 2 punts were blocked for scores (a safety and a TD). Throw in the costly turnovers and the other team doesn't really have to move the ball that much to have a score. Feel bad for Mark Clayton who went down for the season with a knee injury. Him and Bradford had a nice Oklahoma connection there. Danny Amendola is the biggest beneficiary for fantasy. With the lost to Detroit shows just how much growing the Rams need to be a factor in the NFL. Steve Spags is doing one heck of job there and I say another 2 years and the Rams are an above .500 team.

Baltimore (4-1) 24 @ New England (2-2) 17
The Game of the week. The Patriots get to face the team who just dominated them last year in the playoffs. The Pats traded away their deep threat last week and added an old friend this week. I think the Ravens are too much to handle for the Pats in this one. But New England will not get blown out like last season. It is going to be interesting for the Pats without the deep threat of Randy Moss. Wes Welker now grabs the full attention of opponents.

New Orleans (3-2) 24 @ Tampa Bay (3-1) 14
One of the most interesting matchups here. We have been waiting for the Saints to wake up from their superbowl hangover and also for the Bucs to fall flat. Saints just lost to an undrafted QB's first NFL start, even though a passing nor rushing TD was scored for the Cardinals. The Bucs are coming back from a never say die attitude game in Cincy, thanks to Carson Palmer. I'm tempted to pick the Buccaneers in this one because it's a feel good story of a young team performing above expectations. The Saints though can't lose this game and be in an 2 game hole in their own division. I think they rebound in a tight one here.

Detroit (1-4) 17 @ New York Giants (3-2) 34
The Gmen just dominated the upstart Texans and caused the all AFC south to be tied at 3-2. Hakeem Nicks is balling right now as is the Defense who are ranked #1 in passing D. The Lions coming off their first win of the season come into the swamps of New Jersey to face a team that is riding hot right now. Stafford is on the verge of coming back, but I think it will be wise to sit him out against this pass rush. As long as Manning doesn't throw picks and Bradshaw holds onto the ball, the Gmen win in a landslide.

Atlanta (4-1) 20 @ Philadelphia (3-2) 13
The NFC game of the week. The Dirty Birds vs. the Birds in the city of brotherly love. Eagles are hurting right now with some key injuries, but the backups have been a pleasant surprise. Jason Peters is out and Dunlap will replace him at Left Tackle, which has Abraham drooling at the mouth as Dunlap gave up 3 sacks last Sunday night in San Francisco. I know Vick really wants to be out there to face his former team, but I think he will be out at least one more week. Though I think it will be wise to sit him out next week against the Titans before the bye week just to give him a full month of recovery. The Eagles get Samuel back after a week off which should help with a receiver like Roddy White on the other side. Philly surprise me last week with the containment of Gore, but I do not see that happening this week with Michal Turner. I hate to do it but I think the Falcons are too much for the Eagles in this one.

Cleveland (1-4) 6 @ Pittsburgh (3-1) 33
Nice game for the Big Ben return. Gets to get some of that rust off against the Browns. Word around the campfire is that Mangini is about to put in rookie Colt McCoy in because of ankle injures to Wallace and Delhomme. Now that's a welcome to the NFL kid- go ahead and face the Steel Curtain. Don't forget that Cribbs was a QB in college so you might see him under center for a number of plays also. Mike Wallace will love the return of Big Ben because it'll buy him more time to get down the field. Steelers in a laugher in Pittsburgh.

Kansas City (3-1) 17 @ Houston (3-2) 27
I think we can start taking the Cheifs a little more seriously as they were in a dogfight in Indianapolis last week. Defense is playing as well as anybody now, but the offense is lacking a spark from the QB. They will be going up against the worst pass defense in the league, so if it doesn't happen here it won't happen for Cassell at all this season. Houston is coming off a defeat that they will like to get out of their minds. Fantasy sleeper of the week is in this game and he goes by the name of Dexter McCluster. I think Cassell has to be losing faith in Bowe because of the many dropped balls that he had last week. Expect him to look for Dexter alot more against the Texans here.

Oakland (2-3) 16 @ San Francisco (0-5) 24
The Battle of the Bay. York claiming that his team will still win the NFC West, and why not I still do myself. But if they lose this game against Da Raiders, I will have to start rethinking of another West team to make the playoffs. This is a must win for the Niners, not so much for Oakland. I think San Fran comes out hungrier and wins in a close one.

NY Jets (4-1) 23 @ Denver (2-3) 13
Does not get any easier for the Broncos. At least they will not play against Revis in this one I think. Jets should come in and control the tempo of this game. They will control the ball with the running game to keep the #1 passing offense off the field. There is a possibility of Moreno to be out for the 3rd straight week, but did practice today which is a good sign. The Broncos will not have a shot to win this game without him.

Dallas (1-3) 28 @ Minnesota (1-3) 31
Way to get people off the topic of the sexting Brett- talk about how your streak is in danger because of your elbow. He is not fooling me and he will play. He showed some life in that 2nd half on Monday night and surpassed the unfathomable numbers of 500 TD passes and also 70,000 yards. He also broke another record that night surpassing the great Warren Moon in fumbles. Dallas was also sluggish in the beginning against the Titans and woke up right before half. That was an awesome play from Miles Austin last week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X5KEMzlMC8. Both teams need a win here so this is going to be a dogfight. Wouldn't it be funny if this game ended in a tie? The Vikings need to stick with AP for the all game to keep Romo off the field and to avoid a costly Favre turnover. Moss loves playing against the Cowboys because he felt Jerry Jones snubbed him by not drafting him.

Indianapolis (3-2) 34 @ Washington (3-2) 21
Never bet against Manning in primetime. What a great win from the Redskins last week and even a better catch by Armstrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xdw3Kx2c5iw. I think the Colts are just to much for the 'Skins to handle.

Tennessee (3-2) 30 @ Jacksonville (3-2) 17
The winner of this one will at least be in a tie for first and the loser will be in last place in the AFC South. Great time to have this game on Monday Night Football.

Byes

Buffalo-could possibly on the verge of a 0-16 season.

Cincinnati- a much needed rest for the Bengals. Gives an extra week for Palmer to think about the game he gave away to Tampa.

Arizona- An extra week gives Hall some extra reps with the ones.

Carolina- could also be on the verge of a 0-16 season.

Last Week: 5-9

Season: 46-30

Week 5 Picks

Congratulations to #5 winning in his return to the city of brotherly love. You can see that the 'Skins came in to win it for McNabb. That just shows how much respect they have for the man. You will always be respected by me Donovan, even though your team beat the Birds. On to Week 5 picks.

Jacksonville (2-2) 10 @ Buffalo (0-4) 17
A thrilling 59 yard FG to beat the Colts last week for the Jags. Scobee ran around like a little kid after that kick was an awesome sight to see. For some reason the Jaguars always play the Colts tough. I see one of those "Let Down" games here as they travel to upstate New York to face the Bills. Buffalo gets off the snide here and wins their first victory of the season. Earlier in the week the Bills traded Marshawn Lynch to the Seahawks. This should give Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller some more touches. The only problem is that this team will normally play from behind.

Tampa Bay (2-1) 10 @ Cincinnati (2-2) 16
I don't know why I've been thinking that this Bengals offense will wake up. Maybe its just that Carson Palmer isn't that good anymore. They seemed to be moving the ball, but are not getting Touchdowns. Tampa had 2 weeks to prepare for this team which is the reason why it's a close game.

Atlanta (3-1) 38 @ Cleveland (1-3) 13
What I like about the Falcons this season is that they are winning games that they should lose. One being the Saints when Hartley missed a 29-yd chipshot in OT and last week when Clements didn't secure the ball. Great hustle play from Roddy White, who because of that (actually the 2nd time it happened- more on that later) is becoming one of my favorite non-eagle players. I don't know why Mangini has to think if Delhoume is healthy to play him. The truth is Jake sucks and at least the Browns have been in the games Seneca has started in. I don't think this is a contest, leave Wallace in there until he has one of the Delhoume's 5 int games.

St. Louis (2-2) 27 @ Detroit (0-4) 28
The hardest game to pick this week. Sam Bradford is growing right in front of our eyes. It's amazing what this kid has done in his first 4 games as a pro. Yes he is making mistakes, as all rookie QBs do, but he has made some real nice throws. And not only that has made a real possibility of contention for the Division. It's the wild wild west out there and someone has to come out on top and why not the Rams. As for the Lions if not this week- when? Stafford will be sitting out this week, which I think is the right move because the Lions bye is next week. This will give him 2 weeks off to rest that shoulder. In the end, Detroit comes out with a victory.

Kansas City (3-0) 20 @ Indianapolis (2-2) 35
I wish this game was at Arrowhead. I think it will had made a hell of a game, but Peyton being home after a defeat is a recipe for disaster for the visiting team. This will be a good test to see whether or not to take the Cheifs seriously for the rest of the season.

Green Bay (3-1) 24 @ Washington (2-2) 10
Did you see that INT by Woodson last week- loved the dive at the end. Great win by the Redskins last week against my Birds. It was an ugly game, but they came out on top. Green Bay almost lost a big lead to Detroit. It looked liked they put the foot off the gas. I don't think you will see that this week. In order for the 'Skins to win this game, they need to put tons of pressure on Rodgers.

Chicago (3-1) 13 @ Carolina (0-4) 17
My third winless team getting a victory pick this week. Carolina gets a break with Todd Collins being the QB for the Bears this week. But they also need to watch out for former Panther Julius Peppers. Who wants to have a beast of a game. But the horrible play from Chicago's O-line is the main reason for picking the Panthers this week.

Denver (2-2) 13 @ Baltimore (3-1) 24
Huge win by the Ravens last week. Also a nice last minute win by the Broncos last week. Denver will again be an one-dimensional offense as Moreno is out again. You can not go into Baltimore like that.

New York Giants (2-2) 24 @ Houston (3-1) 34
You know what I hated about last Sunday night's game. It reminded me of 2007 when they sacked McNabb 12 times. What a dominating performance by the Gmen's D-Line. Their offense though is a different story, but this week they should produce but will come up short to a superior offense in the Texans. Houston should get a big boost by having Andre Johnson back in the lineup this week.

New Orleans (3-1) 38 @ Arizona (2-2) 17
This is the game where Drew Brees and Co. can sit back and relax in the 4th quarter. Every game so far this year for the Saints has been a tight one. Max Hall will get his first start for the Cardinals- I don't know how much of an upgrade this is from Derek Anderson though.

San Diego (2-2) 31 @ Oakland (1-3) 27
Which San Diego team are we getting this week. I was pretty close on picking the Raiders because it is such a crap shoot. The Raiders have been in pretty much all of their games and I see no difference in this one. At least they don't have to worry about LT, because it seemed he always had his best games against Oakland. San Diego in a tight one, but I wouldn't be surprise if Oakland gets an upset here.

Tennessee (2-2) 17 @ Dallas (1-2) 24
The Titans lost a heartbreaker last week. And it seems like 2,500 yards is now a distant goal now for Chris Johnson. After being held in check for the past two weeks, expect him to come back to form against the Cowboys. Vince Young comes back home to Texas and might be able to pull out a victory, but I think with the Cowboys are too much for them.

Philadelphia (2-2) 27 @ San Francisco (0-4) 21
It looks like the Kevin Kolb era is back on. With Vick out for at least the next couple of weeks, Kolb has to be the man. It appears that Shady McCoy will play with a fractured rib which should help Kolb since he doesn't have to it himself. The D has to come in and step up and make some plays to cause turnovers. The Birds will be without Samual this week. I am beginning to think that San Franciso is a bad coached team. I love Singletary and all but when Roddy White comes down the field to strip the ball after an Int for the 2nd straight season- Yeah that's right it happened last season also. Last year in week 5, Dre Bly Intercepted the ball and guess who came from behind to strip the ball- Roddy White. You will think they will learn their lesson from last season.

Minnesota (1-2) 24 @ New York Jets (3-1) 17
News of the week was that Moss was traded to the team that drafted him. To be honest with you, I would've picked the Jets if this game was on Sunday. It being on Monday night made me think a lil bit, because for some reason Favre and Moss bring their A game on MNF. And now they are on the same team.

Byes

Miami (2-2)
Tough back to back losses to AFC East foes. Have an extra week to have that salt in their mouths before they come back.

New England (2-2)
Traded Moss at the right time I think. Right before the Vikings play the Jets. Smart move by the Pats.

Pittsburgh (3-1)
Great 4 week stretch without Big Ben, almost came out of it being undefeated. Now with their starter back, I think Pittsburgh is going to be really tough out from here on out.

Seattle (2-2)
Hope to have a running game when they get back, with Marshawn Lynch there now.
